Highland Community College in Highland, KS, plans to hold Fall 2021/Spring 2022 classes in person. The college will continue to take precautions to monitor the COVID-19 global pandemic and will follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
We will be following recommended CDC guidelines for COVID prevention. These include:
Wearing a mask if you are unvaccinated
Students should stay in their room if they feel ill and contact ScottieHealth (scottiehealth@highlandcc.edu).
Hand sanitizer, masks, and sanitizing wipes are available in limited supply in the Academic Affairs office.
Maintaining social distancing when appropriate.
What will Summer/Fall classes look at HCC:
Classrooms are returning to regular capacity
Class attendance will be face-to-face unless published otherwise
Masks, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes will still be available in the Academic Affairs, however they will not be generally placed in each classroom.
We will continue to evaluate the state and local outbreak of COVID-19. We continue to provide guidance and information as it becomes available.
