The Highland Community College basketball teams have advanced to the post-season in Region VI of the NJCAA and will host games in the coming week. The men will face fellow Jayhawk Conference member Fort Scott in a first round game in Allen Field House on the HCC campus for a 3:00 tipoff on Saturday, March 2. If they win, they will advance to the second round on Tuesday.
The Scottie women, ranked tenth in the country, have a first round bye on Saturday and will then host a second round game in the friendly confines of Allen Field House on Tuesday, March 5, at 7:00. Their opponent will be the winner of the Fort Scott/Brown Mackie game which will be held on Saturday.
