Highland Women Nationally Ranked
The Highland Community College women’s basketball team has started the season 10-0, initially entered the NJCAA rankings at #16, and has now climbed to #10. "We are excited about our start and I think it’s nice to be recognized, but our focus is truly on improvement," said head coach BJ Smith. "We have a team with no returners, and nine freshmen. We can’t afford to look up, we have to keep our heads down and work at this point," Smith stated. The Scotties return to action December 15 against Brown Mackie in Allen Field House on the HCC campus.
